Linden Ridge Block Party (September 10th)

Our local community party was held on Saturday 10th September at 5PM. We had a fantastic turnout and, despite a few ominous clouds, the weather stayed warm and dry.

We would like to thank everyone who took the time to join us and bought all the desserts and chips etc. We would also like to thank Smithfields for an excellent selection of hot foods.

Just after 6PM we held a short community meeting and the next newsletter will be coming to your door very soon detailing news and information arising from this.

Homeowner's Association Meeting (May 14th - 2nd Quarter)

As you know if you are here our community now has a web site featuring community calendar, community news, board member contact information, meeting minutes and by-laws.

Please call Jennifer Gibson on 798-9342 to publish any news you would like to share (e.g. birthdays, anniversaries, accomplishments like honor roll, sports, etc) This will be included in the distributed newsletter as well as on our web site.

Linden Ridge HOA Has Entered it's Third Year

Please pay your dues for the third year. Any payment schedule can be arranged. Please contact Peggy O'Leary on 452-7848 for dues payments. Your official statement (including previous balance) has been included with the latest newsletter due late May.

Consolidated Trash Pickup

In an effort to reduce wear and tear on the roads in our neighborhood and save homeowners some money, we would like to consolidate trash pickup to a single company. We received the following quotes from the trash companies in the event that the neighborhood chooses to use their company as the preferred trash company:

 

Waste Management: $13.95 / month
Waste Industries: $13.43 / month
A-1 Sanitation: $13.00 / month

A-1 Sanitation Service came in with the least expensive bid at $13 / month (billed $26 every two months) and was voted as the preferred trash company at the May 14th meeting. This is not a mandatory switch, but please consider the personal savings and the potential elimination of two trash trucks driving on our roads.

Neighborhood Entrance & Sign

The neighborhood sign is in need of repair. We will be paying for such repairs very soon. We ask that all students waiting for the school bus in the morning please remain off of the median to prevent further damage to the sign and protect the landscaping. Thanks for your cooperation in keeping our neighborhood beautiful. The entrance sprinklers have been fixed and the lights for our sign are currently under repair.
